I am so excited to finally be able to tell you what I have known for ages but haven’t had that Aha moment to actually be able to verbalise it until just now!  I was talking to a dear friend of mine; she is going through a life changing period, being the observer in her finding her purpose has been incredible, it is actually quite emotional on a very happy scale!

I have watched her go through what she has had to go through to get to this point, the point where she just can’t hide who she is any longer and what she is here for. It’s going to mean a lot of massive changes in her life and the life of others, but, that’s what we all have to go through in order to get on our true paths.

During our conversation, she told me that she was surprised by the positive reaction she was getting from the people around her about her decision to quit her profession and go and follow her dreams.  She said that people have been telling her how brave she is and how strong she is; I sat back with a huge smile on my face and in my heart, then she said, “I don’t feel as though I am strong and brave, I am just doing what I have to do.”

Yep!  That was the aha moment. That was the answer that I would always give to people when they would say to me, “wow how did you manage to study a law degree in a different state as a single mum of 2 young kids?”  I would say, “I just had to”.

See this is the difference between those of us that are doing what it is we have been put on this earth to do and those of us that aren’t quite on that path yet.  When you are on your true destined path, nothing and no-one will get in the way of you doing what you have to do to stay on that path; you will overcome any ‘obstacle’ (of course you will still feel pain etc) because you just know that there is no other way, and you know that no matter what, you will do it.

Failure is not an option, it doesn’t even cross your mind.  You don’t compare yourself to anyone else; no one else actually really matters, not in a nasty sense, but it is something very personal; Sally or Jane (random names) don’t even cross your mind or figure when you are on your path, despite who comes and goes, what and how you feel, what people around you are telling you you “should” be doing, it just doesn’t figure; you are on a mission and there ain’t no stopping you!

I was on that path.  I was destined to go and study law and do what I have done over the past 17 years to get me to where I am now.  Nothing got in my way, but believe you me, there were many red herrings along the way and many times when I felt like giving in, but I just couldn’t, wouldn’t and didn’t.  I also know that I am now at another point where I am about to make some massive changes in my life in order to continue to fulfil my life’s purpose.

I know what my purpose is, I know what I want and what I have to do to fulfil it.  I will do it.  I am closing the door on my legal career, it has served its purpose and I have learnt what I have had to. I am here to serve the Universe, to help others get on their path, to find their purpose. I know how to do it. I can see other people’s potential and purpose like you see your own reflection in the mirror.  I know this is what I am here for.  I am excited and I believe wholeheartedly that when you are on your destined path, everything will be more than ok.

Just another thing before I go, and as another example to try and convince you to go and live your purpose; you know all of those times when you start something and then get part way through and then think, why am I doing this? It’s not what I expected. Or the passion dies almost instantly?  It’s because it’s not what you really want.  It’s not what your true purpose is.  Find your purpose and you will find that your life will be as amazing as what you imagine it can be.

Thank you for reading this and for giving me your precious time.  Sending you my love. xx
